Early pack up and then on the road to Ceduna.
Passed the halfway point of Australia at Kimba (2,000km). From there on we encountered the wave. Everyone we passed coming from the opposite direction would wave as they passed by. A bit of a howdy. Tim started off waving back, then moved onto just raising the fingers from the steering wheel then onto just the finger. Wave ratio 1:4
Stopped at Streaky Bay and sat by the water having fish and chips for lunch. Beautiful location. Could have spent a lot longer in Streaky Bay, however, because of Easter, everything was booked out so instead it was back into the car for the final run into Ceduna. We ended up at a caravan park about 3km out of Ceduna. Ground hard as rock so we couldn’t use pegs. Just threw a few heavy bags into the corners of the tent and hoped the wind didn’t pick up.
