After a few false starts (Tim couldn’t find the keys, we forgot Lara’s booster seat, Tim forgot the keys again etc), we headed off around lunch time to Wollondilly River Station. Stopped in at Mittagong for supplies, including replacing all those items that we realised we'd left at home (iPod car connector, external DVD drive, extra tent pegs, power board - what we've realised so far, I'm sure there will be more).
We arrived at Wollondilly River Station mid afternoon. Had a lovely grassy camp site on the Wombeyan River with plenty of space to spread out. Set up camp, lit the fire and chilled out. (And chatted with the campers down the river while asking to borrow a bottle opener - I'm sure this won’t be the last thing we’ve forgot!).
